"Has the best breakfast but over the yrs it's now ltd.great location, free coffee from check in to check out time , the hotel is going down in repairs and condition.for the price Toyoko is cleaner .smoke is a major irritant It needs a new carpet and housekeeping shud look at the dust beneath beds and the main bath drain is disgusting. But old timers and service is 5stars "

The introduction to zazen was great, though Japanese speakers will get most out of this - ditto the lecture before morning service. "I booked this hotel mainly for its airport shuttle. Even though there’s only one to the airport in the morning, they went above and beyond to help and accommodate me. The room was massive and provided absolutely lovely views. I do have tattoos so they had to be covered when entering the bath. The building is old and smells of moisture, which I think comes with running an onsen. Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much. "

"Staff was kind. Plenty of self-service facility including vending machine, microwave oven, etc. Room is quiet even the hotel building is beside railroad tracks. Only problems are very limited parking space and early-closing restaurant."
