"This hotel property is best described as "Past Due"...very past due. The rooms are very small with very old and very tired beds. Two beds means two very tiny one person (small person) bed with a memory matrass that long lost his memory with a paper thing blanket. One tiny towel but that wasn't a problem as the shower was to small to shower a adult person anyway. The included breakfast was (probably due to staffing problems) not worthy to be mentioned a breakfast. At 9 am there wasn't a lot left...

"There are not so many hotels in this small town of Coevorden. This one is splendid. What makes it so special is the staff. They are the kindest and most helpful people I’ve ever met. The hotel is fairly basic but kept up very very well. I’ll stay here again."

The restaurant and breakfast room are located in this ‘castle.’ The rooms are located across the street in a new-fangled room complex. The rooms are modern and functionally furnished. Unfortunately, there was a lack of maintenance of the rooms; the shower floor and chairs are damaged. All this should not spoil the fun, but that is not what you expect from a (Fletcher) hotel. "What a great hotel. Large car park. Lovelly staff. The room was very big the bathroom excellent with bath and shower. The bed was brilliant as were the pillows. Wi Fi was great. The lift was very useful."

"Big part of the Hotel was used to host (Ukrainian) refugees. This does definitely influence the atmosphere and service level. Would have liked to know this beforehand to weigh it in my choice."
