The only thing I did not like was the mattress, which was quite uncomfortable due to the springs being old and not working properly (incl there being a dip in the middle of the mattress where I'm guessing the majority of people would have sat)."

"A lovely hotel, nice big room with comfy bed. This is definitely not a dog friendly hotel, we had hoped to have a drink in the bar after the stressful weekend we'd had but no. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant which I fully understand but they are not allowed in any area in the bar. So basically you walk through reception and go straight to the room with your dog. This is not dog friendly at all and you even have to pay £15 a night for this. Honestly if you have a dog don't bother going...
