"Great location, lovely pool! The rooms are spacious. It would. We didn't know until we left that there were some breakfast products available in the building next to the pool. Also, there wasn't any info on the gym. A bit more comprehensive info in English (probably other languages too) would really help. Also, check in time of 5pm is really late, and check out of 10 is too early. I appreciate they need to clean a whole apartment, but its difficult to work with those times."

"Phenomenal location at the edge of a panoramic bastide. Expensive, but very good restaurant in the hotel itself (not always open in mid October). Some good restaurants nearby, but many also not open for dinner in mid October (although open for lunch)."

"We were disappointed upon arrival to learn that the onsite restaurant was closed. Our stay was at the end of the season but we were unaware of the closure. This was the only problem with our stay. At first WiFi to our room did not connect but manager/owner worked diligently and successfully got it working! Great value for money and the hotel is perfectly placed to discover the jewels of the Dordogne such as Perigueux and the cave paintings at Lascaux. The only slight issue is a bit of bliss from the road right behind the pool and the breakfast could have been better for the price. But great stay overall’ "

"Lovely quiet location looking over the valley. Unfortunately, it was very wet so we weren’t able to enjoy sitting outside on the terrace which looked a wonderful space. Very crazy to drive down into Sarlat."

"Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff"

"A lovely provincial hotel in Sarlat & we enjoyed the breakfast. Very pleasant hosts & their dog Mario was a treat. Our only issue was that they said they had a problem with Wotif/Expedia passing on our payment & as we had to pay again on check out, & now are in negotiations with Wotif to get our money back. We have to wait 3 days so we do not yet know how easy Wotif is going to make the resolution to a problem of their making. Hopefully it will be ok "
