"It’s a lovely hotel with a pool. The room and breakfast was basic, need to order cold plate (cheese and salami) with the staff. Free parking on site and can store bicycles with them. The staffs are very friendly. However, the internet was slow and unstable sometimes. The hotel is next to a “main” street, can be loud, especially when at the pool. "

"We loved our stay at hotel dei Capitani, would highly recommend. Montalcino is famous for truffles, wild boar, wine, and beautiful views, especially from this hotel. It is on top of a mountain and in the country so you can expect to see bugs in your room like spiders, mosquitos, stink bugs, but they are mostly all harmless and more of a nuisance than anything. When looking for food to eat I recommend “Il Moro SNC di pellegrini Alessandro”, extremely clean kitchen, family run, delicious homemade...

"This property was amazing. The staff was so incredibly professional, nice, helpful and friendly. I can’t say enough of how nice they were. The views from this property were amazing rolling Hills of Tuscany and the weather was rainy so I just could imagine how beautiful it would’ve been with the sunshine.
