"It's a bit of a hike up to Sienna but the walk is worth it, you avoid a lot of the tourist crowds coming from this direction. There are some steep hills to the top of the town, so be warned but I would stay here again. Relatively simple check in and out, no complaints. "

"When we arrived at the property we had so many questions about the area! The staff was helpful and answered all of our questions with great patience. We only stayed for 1 night, but wish we had booked for more nights. We toured Siena during the day, but came back to the property for a beautiful sunset and dinner. "Perfect location for a stay in Siena. It is literally next to the Duomo. The B&B suggested we use a valet parking lot outside of the city, which worked out perfectly. We were dropped off right next to the property, picked up on time at the end of the trip, and did not have to lug our bags through town. In addition to the location, the property itself was lovely. "This was a place to stay. Period. Nothing more. Wi-Fi did not work. The overhead shower is broken and did not work. Pieces of the bathroom door fell off. There was no hot/warm water for 36 hours. "Fairytale castle style home style hotel in this beautiful medieval town. Be aware you can’t drive your car up into the old city - so pack light- you need to park outside the city walls and walk up. "Die Wohnung liegt ruhig im schönen Dorf Chiusdino, das Meer ist ca. 1 Stunde entfernt, aber der Pool eignet sich gut zum Baden. Es ist genug Platz für 4 Personen. "We had a great stay at the house of Marisa and Paolo. Both were very welcoming, and we spent a perfect week in Chiusdino. The house provided everything we needed for our family of four. From the garden we had a beautiful view towards the hills. And the swimming pool was great to cool down and escape from the summer heat. "Staff was very proficient in English for the most part, with excellent communication and professional in service through and through. Restaurant on site was elegant with good variety of menu items, though a little pricey as expected. Quality of food was above average but not excellent as expected. Drive to this monastery was fairly easy with surrounding village somewhat accommodating in amenities and conveniences. Keep in mind you would need a car throughout your stay here. Siena is 10 minutes away by car, a must see for at least one day. "

"Beautiful hotel and awesome location. Hotel is located at the edge of Siena central city. An easy walk to the city with the added benefit of being in a quiet location. We loved Siena! The grounds were beautiful as was the hotel and room. The room was a spacious apartment with a large bedroom full of windows overlooking the beautiful grounds. Also,a comfortable king bed with an attached living room and kitchen. We cooked in our room one night with the supplies from the large grocery store a short walk from the hotel. Dishes, utensils and cooking pans supplied in the room. The train and bus terminal were a short walk from the hotel for easy connections to other areas. We loved this hotel so much we extended our stay an extra day. "
