"Enjoyed our stay except for creaky floor boards (which can't be helped in old buildings), also we paid extra for Premium Parking, on the second day someone else parked on our space and we had to park round the back next to the bins, this was some distance from reception via a narrow, dark footpath. When we complained about the parking we were given a £10 refund."

"I have stayed before & I like the place & people; slightly disappointed that there was no effort to clear the car park of snow or indeed the path up to the door - it was very dangerous. No grit or salt laid either. They did say they had a shovel ! "

"Beautiful old building, wonderfully maintained, no tired nor neglected areas. The welcoming reception boasts a roaring and welcoming real fire with an elegant seating area set around it. Staff are friendly and go about their duties with quiet efficiency. The old Swan certainly lends an air of qualities of yesteryear. Highly recommended. "
