"Fantastic location,location,location on walking street with all kinds of shops, stores, coffee shops, restaurants and bars, walk to almost everything we walked an average of 8000 steps per day (74 and 77 years old). The only negative was the bathroom with slippery shower floor and sometimes bad smell. We stayed for 10 nights and will definitely go back. Thank you so much. Rita and Hans "

"The staff at Casa das Palmeiras were extremely kind, helpful, and respectful. We arrived early on our first day in Sao Miguel, and the staff let us store our luggage at the house while we waited. They were even able to move up our check-in time. Our room had an excellent view of the neighborhood below and amazing, high ceilings.
