"El Samay Hotel Botique was the perfect getaway for our family. This is an extremely well-maintained property, right on the beach. The staff were wonderful, especially Percy. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I especially liked the ceviche de pescado! The rooms are spacious and have air conditioning. "This property is absolutely gorgeous!! The building, the decor, the area are all stunning. And the apartment is very well appointed with everything you could possibly need. "Really nice hotel, excellent place, right in front of the beach, nice pool and good amenities. However, there are some things that they have to work on: Reception only works until 10.30pm and there is lack of transportation to important points (downtown, airports, restaurant). The place is great, and the manager is aware of the weaknesses; when we talked to him, he was very open to listen to the clients, which is very important. "When I arrived, I found that the hotel was not located on beachfront property as the website photos would lead you to believe. Furthermore, many of the rooms are located directly around an inner courtyard area in the hotel, and they are not closed up (only mesh netting over windows), meaning you can hear everything going on outside your room quite clearly and vice/versa. "Bali Hai was like paradise. We had a bungalow two steps away from the sand and 20 m from the ocean. "El Samay Hotel Botique was the perfect getaway for our family. This is an extremely well-maintained property, right on the beach. The staff were wonderful, especially Percy. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I especially liked the ceviche de pescado! The rooms are spacious and have air conditioning. Since there are currently only 4 units, the staff are able to provide attentive service to everyone. I noticed that the beach in front of the property was carefully raked each morning. The area surrounding the property (Punta Sal) is safe to walk around, as is Cancas Beach and Máncora. We went on a whale watching tour, which included freshly prepared ceviche and was capped off by swimming with sea turtles. I would not hesitate to recommend El Samay to anyone."
