"Very pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel stay was, the room was very clean and spacious, bed very comfortable, liked the illuminated picture above the bed, breakfast was good. It was a short 10 min walk to restaurants and shops in the town centre, and close to bus route into the city."

"A lovely, spacious room with very helpful staff. I left my keys behind and they alerted me to it by the time I had reached the airport and posted them back out to me. The breakfast was tasty, if maybe a little expensive for what it was. The pizza place next door was excellent and very cheap. Transport to/from the airport couldn't have been easier and the city centre was within walking distance. "

"It seems to be family-owned. The staff is fantastic, very cordial and friendly. They provided ear plugs, I’m assuming because of the train and bus station across the street but at night time it wasn’t too bad. Just an occasional train once in a while. We were parking on a weekend so we had plenty of street parking options since the meters aren’t in effect on Sunday and there seemed to be a garage not too far away. Good distance from Cologne and Bonn. Breakfast was delicious. "

"The size of the swimming pool is sufficient for length swimming. Unfortunately the sauna was out of service. The buffet breakfast was substantial, but closed at 09.30 with the check out time at 10.00"

"Happy with location, lost of places all around for food and drinks, tram stop close by so easy to get around, or only 24 minute walk from train station. Room has everything you need. We didnt have a view as looked out on a stairwell but this was a short sightseeing trip so view not needed as only in room to sleep."

"Was booked for 4 nights. Resturaunt shut mon open tues and wed. Shut thurs no reason given. Thin quilt in room. Curtains did not fit and i was on street level so in dark people could look in from street. Room not cleaned bin emptied or towels changed during entire stay. Was not cheap to stay there either. I am well traveled and stay away 4 nights a week with work and this was not good."

"The staff at the rec option desk was very welcoming and friendly. The room was an ok size for a single occupancy. Typical twinbed style as it is common in Europe. Clean room. Comfortable mattress (I prefer the harder mattresses), and shower and sink water pressure were perfect. It is also only a 10-minute walk to Koelnmesse or one subway stop. "
