"Single night stay in November on a Sunday night. Definitely not a busy evening - could only check in till 1800 but made welcome on arrival. Room was immaculate, very comfortable and quiet despite being at the front of the property. Bizarrely no chef the following morning so given a breakfast voucher for cafe down the road which was fine. "

"Generally, it was an excellent sojourn. In order to access the property, I had to communicate with one of the staff. She seemed to be very kind and amiable. She upgraded my booking to an ensuite room. The airconditioner was powerful and I appreciated the extra blankets. No complaints! Tip: I recommend rendering a visit to the butcher (in the vicinity). "

"Great option for myself and two dogs. Cottage with small backyard meant I could safely let the dogs out when required. Being on a farm also allowed for expansive walks with the dogs. Excellent charm, great character in the historic cottages. Staff were helpful and welcoming."

"Originally booked/paid for Timber cabin because it suited our mobility/healthrequirements. Stroke. Allocated cabin 36. Poor condition, really stained carpets and shower in bathtub with half screen unusable to us. Unable to shower so we had to leave one day early. Furniture and floors sticky to touch. We think a through scrub out might have helped. The whole cabin needed some attention and maintenance. Two out of three external safety lights not working. Not good for a person who uses...
