"My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend with two other families. We’d seen some negative reviews, and while the house is rough around the edge, we had a great stay and the kids loved the sheep, chickens, pool, basketball and tennis courts. The house isn’t in pristine condition, but it’s neat and tidy, comfortable and is in a beautiful location. The properlty manager was also very responsive and flexible with check-in’s "

"I had an unforgettable stay at this incredible house during my wedding weekend with my family. Perched on top of a hill, the property offered breathtaking views of lush greenery and fields dotted with animals, creating a serene and picturesque setting. "I booked to spend the weekend with my daughter and son-in-law and their two children. We all really enjoyed our stay. The place was so clean and spacious! The kitchen was well-stocked. It was nice to cook and have our meals there. My grandsons loved the farm animals. Judith and her husband were very hospitable and allowed the boys to feed the calves, sheep, chickens, etc. The grown-ups had fun too seeing the animals. The scenery around there is spectacular! Their gardens were lovely."

"We picked Woodlands because of the beautiful pics...However, entering the property and arriving over the undulating hills and then into the house took our breath away! The house and amenities are pristine and surrounding horse stables seriously was next level. We are a family of six with teenagers and none of us could fault our stay. Highly recommend and we are thinking of going back in winter to enjoy the out door fire pit! :)"

"We had a wonderfully peaceful stay and Budgong Lodge. Very secluded and pristine. Beds are comfy, great sizes, great bathrooms, showers and plenty of hot water. A real cooks kitchen and wonderful fireplace. This is a perfect spot, we saw wallabies and wombats. If you're contemplating booking, this is the one! "

"Somerton was a great place to stay in the Southern Highlands. The property feels private and is in beautiful surroundings. We had the fireplace going and enjoyed the animals on the property and access to the tennis court. The hosts were very welcoming and were happy to assist with any requirements. Highly recommend."

"While the interior of the house was really good, the exterior was completely the opposite. The lawn was unmown and knee high so the children couldn't use the lawn or the play areas. The trampoline had no base so unusable, and the swing set was in poor repair as well.I hate to give negative reviews but I have to say it as it was. The exterior cobwebs on the windows made it obvious that no-one was taking care in the presentation of the property. Sad as it's a great house....just mow the lawn!"

The cleanliness could have been a bit more thorough and the spa didn’t work for the majority of our stay (though it was super super hot so we didn’t need it on).
