The hotel is a little dated and had creaky floors however, when my mum didn’t sleep well on the 1st night, she got moved to a beautiful top floor sea view double (which she loved). "We received a very warm welcome and info about the hotel which is very clean and beautifully decorated. Our room was a good size, very stylish and well appointed with comfy double bed and crisp white linen, two easy chairs, coffee maker, TV etc and even two padded waterproof coats to use for early morning strolls or inclement weather. It’s only a short walk uphill from the hotel to bustling Port Isaac but so good to return and have a quiet drink watching the sun go down over Port Gaverne. "

Bugle Station. This station on the Newquay branch line used to be an island platform. The second line ran in the now overgrown area between the platform and the white buildings at right. The station now only has pedestrian access, the station yard having been used for housing.
