"The hotel is located just off the A303 which makes it very convenient as a stopover to or from Plymouth ferry. The place is lovely, staff are friendly and very efficient. The food is just fantastic, great menu with some interesting tasty dishes. The only issue we had was with the bed. The mattress was very tired and soft, which wasn’t that comfortable. Saying that we would definitely go back as the rest of the stay was just lovely. "

"The staff were very kind, very sweet. The place is the oldest hotel in the area. I appreciated this. And it was clean. The cleaning lady kept checking on me to see if I needed anything. I stayed for 6 nights during a retreat. The food for breakfast was very good, they were sweet and attentive.
