"A nice modern hotel well placed for the old town. Staff were helpful and attentive. It lacks anywhere to get a beverage and snack during the day. I arrived at about 9pm and ate in the bar area where I paid over the odds for a very small portion of reheated chilli con carne. In summary, a nice place to sleep but limited other facilities."

"Great owner and staff. Friendly, helpful and pleasant in every way. Nice night life bar area and a great German style breakfast. Arrived too late for an evening meal but based on how busy the eating areas were I would expect the food to be excellent too. A must stay if anywhere in the area. "Ich verbrachte 3 Tage mit meiner Mutter im Gasthaus zur Sonne. Mit dem gratis erhaltenen S-Bahn Ticket konnten wir Freiburg in 20 Minuten erreichen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Highlights: geräumiges Zimmer, sehr bequeme Betten, gute Parkmöglichkeiten, wunderbares Frühstücksbuffet. Negativ: laut knarrende Badezimmertür. Wenn jemand lärmempfindlich ist würde ich raten woanders Abend zu essen aber das Essen selbst war ausgezeichnet. "
