"I stay at The Bull on a regular basis, and it is always comfortable, food is good and it's reasonable value. Not much to not like."

"I decided, very last minute, to use a hotel as we were celebrating a friend's birthday nearby. I had been given a room on the top floor, but there wasn't a lift and I have a knee problem, so I was swiftly swapped to a ground floor room. The room was excellent value for money. Even though the hotel is only rated 3*, it had an iron and ironing board, tea and coffee, a TV, a safe, free wi-fi, laundry service, and a gorgeously comfortable bed. It was also a nicely quiet room with an excellent level...

"The staff, particularly the male Portuguese bar tender, were friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are in need of renovation but the rooms were quiet and the location ideal. The food and drink was reasonable though pricey. Would stay again if in the area."

"On advert they advertise bathrooms in upstairs rooms are disability friendly but there is no lift to these rooms! Misleading! Downstairs rooms have showers over bath so NOT disability friendly. Not very well thought through! "

"Room was comfortable. If you love places with charm and character this is the place for you. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. The beer in the bar was great. Well served. Conveniently sited in centre of Town. A public car park is situated right behind the Inn at a cost of £5 per day. Free on Sunday. Overall an excellent stay."

"Good cheap hotel. A bit tired looking in places but clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking, good WiFi, usual tea/coffee/ biscuits which were topped up every day, friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom with a walk in shower which I much prefer to a bath. The only issue for me was there was no desk/table to work at but laptops are called laptops for a reason! Room was cleaned and bed made up for me every day which a lot of hotels don’t do these days."

"Amazing room warm and cosy spacious matteress was a little soft for me but only a little thing on the overall stay . Lovely and quiet great tea tray and shower gels handwashes etc of a great quality (john lewis) , brilliant wifi and free and good freeview tv with good signal... overall great country cottage feel. Loved it will defo stay again"
