"THE ROOM WITH 2 SINGLE BEDS WAS CLEAN AND NICE. IT HAS 2 GOOD CLOSETS, A LARGE MIRROR, A GOOD DESK AND A SMALL BALCONY. THE BATHROOM WAS ALSO CLEAN, WITH A GOOD BATHROOM. I ONLY MISSED A SMALL REFRIGERATOR IN THE ROOM. GOOD BREAKFAST, WITH FRUITS AND JUICE OPTIONS."

"The hotel is located in a handy position for getting about to different restaurants. The facilities at the hotel are excellent, the wellness area with the sauna with the most incredible view - not to be missed. Great breakfast buffet with lots of choice and catering to all sorts of dietary requirements. My only negatives…our room was rather small and felt in need of renovation. "Clean apartments. We booked this to have a break from restaurant food. Did lack some basic facilities eg no kettle, dish cloth, tea towel. "

"We booked approximately 12 different locations on our trip to Amsterdam and Croatia. They were all very nice except for this one. Everything in it is VERY OLD, the bedding and linens were from the last century. They were all paper thin and smelled. Both of us had bites all over in the morning. Bed bugs??? The wall at the end of the tub leaked resulting in a flood which we had to clean up in the morning. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!"

"I have never stayed in this type of property. I usually pick a known hotel brand because I know what to expect but I’m so happy I didn’t. We were greeted by the owners with a welcome drink, snacks, and kindness. We sat and talked while they checked us in and then showed us to our room and talked about their amenities. "We had a wonderful time in Kottli. The houses are charming and well maintained. I did read a review before we went there complaining about the cleanliness of the property, but whoever wrote that probably doesn't live in the countryside. We found it perfectly clean for a rural property and Sanja who looks after the property was very nice and friendly. Great place to stay if you don't want to be in the tourist hot spots! "
