"We had a fantastic week at Villa Eda, an immaculate property that exceeded our expectations, apart from the lack of a hand whisk in the kitchen. Despite the heat wave with temperatures in the high 30s to low 40s, the efficient air conditioning kept us comfortable. The property’s isolation was perfect for us, although the 10-minute drive on an uneven gravel track requires a car with good suspension. The small pool and outdoor kitchen were wonderful, and collecting fresh eggs from the chickens...

"We stayed in Lina's place for 6 nights late July/early August. The weather was gorgeous and the pool was perfect for our family. We were greeted by Lina who showed us how everything works. She lives next door so is on hand for any issues that arise. She doesn’t speak much English but we got by using hand gestures and Google Translate. "The villa is beautiful in a relaxing, private location. The photos dont do it justice its much better in real life. Its well equipped and has plenty to keep both adults and children occupied. The pool is amazing, it's clean, well laid out and perfect for children and adults. There was 8 in our group and plenty of space in the pool and villa. "Wir waren 14 Tage im Ferienhaus Nicolara und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es fehlte an nichts. Super netter Empfang von Jasna und Ihrem Mann mit Wein und kroatischen Köstlichkeiten. Tagsüber haben wir uns am Pool aufgehalten und Abends sind wir in die verschiedenen Dörfer und Städte gefahren. Das Haus hat alle Annehmlichkeiten geboten und war so wie in der Beschreibung dargestellt, die Zimmer wunderschön und gut ausgestattet. Aufgrund der Größe des Hauses hat jeder genug Platz um sich auch einmal zurückzuziehen und man tritt sich nicht gegenseitig auf die Füße. "Das Haus ist wunderschön, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und supersauber! Der Ausblick ist einfach sagenhaft! Man braucht aber unbedingt ein Auto um zu den Stränden oder zum Supermarkt zu kommen! Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war total unkompliziert, Amir und seine Frau sprechen sehr gut deutsch und haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Er war in allen Belangen für uns da und hat uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben! Vielen Dank für diese schöne Woche!!!"

"Really nice place to stay. Our room was very small but we knew this in advance. We were there during a heatwave so the pool was amazing. The airconditioning is also great. Breakfast is good, really nice pistachio croissants. The restaurant next to the hotel is a nice place to eat. Only negatives thing would be that the hotel is a bit noisy, you can hear people in the hallway in the morning for example. "

"Wir waren 1 Woche mit 2 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern in dem Ferienhaus. Das Haus bietet für 5 Personen ausreichend Platz. Mit mehr als 5 Personen wird es in der Essküche evtl. etwas eng. Der Poolbereich ist super. Die Vermieter haben uns ganz neue Liegen hingestellt. Wir haben Gabriel von der Vermieterfamilie kennengelernt. Er hat uns das Haus gezeigt etc. Sehr nett. Von den Vermietern bekommt man ansonsten nichts mit. Am Meer ist man in ca. 30-35 Minuten."

"Wonderful hotel that was clean and had a spacious room with a view of the ocean where we were able to open the window and listen to the waves all night. Friendly and helpful staff who recommended a great dining option. This was one of our favorite hotels we stayed at on our 11 day journey through Europe."

"Lovely 150 year old historic hotel in the heart of the Opatija Riviera. The owners appear to be slowly renovating the place so that's good. Breakfast buffet is excellent. Staff are absolutely amazing and helpful. And the sea water pool (yes that's seawater!!) is awesome. Would definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful property on a picturesque strip of coast that is simply amazing. The breakfast and dinner buffets were high quality and the staff were helpful and professional in every way. Grand older hotel with sophisticated spaces. We will come again!"

"We splurged and spent the night. This beautiful hotel. After a delicious buffet dinner we ventured down for a relaxing dip in the hot tub. Felt very good, but the temperature was not as warm as we would have liked. We did not use the other wellness facilities but would have liked to use the red light therapy room if time had allowed! Breakfast was wonderful. Fabulous pillows on the bed and we slept like babies! We felt spoiled!"
