"After booking a room with a shower over bath in error (my fault, partner visually impaired at the minute) staff were very helpfull in relocating us in a room with a walk in shower. Very pleased with the new room and breakfast next morning was excellent."

"This beautiful best western was such a relief to stay in. They were hospitable and courteous. The staff had just catered to an entire wedding through their weekend and notably regular business and were more than on it for the two of us. They had a very kind bartender who served us and us alone on the Sunday evening. And he was wonderful. Our food was well prepared and the room stay was both quiet and cozy. Thank you for your hospitality. We will surely visit again."

"Unusual and quirky room.Decorated really well.Above a pub but quiet. Only quibble, no one around when checking out as pub closed at 10 am.No instructions where to leave the keys.Had to leave them in the door lock."

"Absolutely fantastic choice if you want a budget option that doesn't feel like budget (who doesn't)?! I had booked an alternative on the High Street, but cancelled and plumped instead for North Hill Hotel having read their review. I didn't eat there, but you'd be hard pushed for a better venue for the price. When I stay there again I'll be trying the bar out! Thanks for a wonderful two night stay. "

"Nervous to visit after reading reviews. However, there is a lot of refurbishment going on. The downstairs looks fabulous and the car park/outside space is being worked on. The room was ropey, window held open with a block of wood and a pane of glass missing. Curtains not hanging correctly and a socket out. But, we arrived when they were busy and so checking in was delayed. The staff apologised for wait, and the room! The breakfast was absolutely banging and the staff were exceptional. Helpful...

"Excellently situated on the high street. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room and facilities were ideal. My only criticism of the room is that the lighting could have been better. There were lots of lamps but they did not give enough light. "
