"Is a very simple and quiet hostel. My room was cozy and small. The building is old and not too modern. The plumping can be bad. If you are not into luxury and you are a simple person and dont really care about materials then this place is good for you. If you are not like that then this place is not for you. Is located in the main road of moshi so it easy to walk around. The price is realy good with a simple breakfast. Its a fair deal. "

"Not as close to the airport as I thought. Taxi from airport to lodge takes about 20 mins along a dusty unpaved road. But hotel itself is very nice and you can see Kilimanjaro on a clear day. Staff very friendly and helpful. A lot of international tourists stay here "

The staff made sure that I had a shuttle to go around town and a safe way to get there, had a secure place to store the remaining luggage, and they made delicious food for breakfast and at the restaurant. "I arrived at the property at 4am. My driver woke someone up in order for the gates to be opened. From the moment I stepped into this magical world, I felt swept away by the atmosphere, the 4 poster bed, the warm shower, the surrounding nature and even the charming monkeys running on the property. I enjoyed an in-room massage and a fantastic breakfast and lunch. Five stars are not enough. This place is definitely a 10 out of 10. "

"Yes there is a bumpy 15 minute ride from the main road but the pay off is a tranquil environment to relax at Kili Villa. Our room had a lovely outlook to the gardens where local fauna and birds did their thing. The staff were welcoming and courteous, and the food was delicious. Perhaps the experience could have been improved with better communication about food and drink options when we arrived (with an explanation card). There are no other options for F&B in the area (aside from the golf club)...

"This is probably the nicest hotel in central Moshi for Europeans on their first trip to the region. You have to remember that this is Africa and things don't always work but on balance this is a good safe place to stay. Once lesson for us was we were pretty much the only Europeans in the town, trekkers and safari people tend to stay outside, so be prepared, this is a busy African town not a tourist place"
