"Booked this stay for a nice break after Christmas and New Year before returning to work! Hotel was lovely and clean, staff super friendly and helpful and our room was lovely and spacious. Spa facilities if staying in the main hotel are over the car park and facilities weren’t that big. But nice all the same. Overall a very enjoyable stay but not sure if it’s worth the near £400 for just the one night, but was a nice and needed reset moving into 2025. "

The staff were very helpful and friendly and we had our own reception area which was quick. Our room as on the top floor with only one other room. The staff are outstanding here from Ash at reception to Manuel in the dining room and Hannah in the spa. The many lounge areas are lovely and very tastefully decorated. "I was planning on camping a couple of nights near Keswick, weather not looking good for a late arrival so decided to stay at Derwentwater Hotel... so glad I did! - At check in I was greeted in a really professional manner, in the bar the staff were super friendly! That was my opening night. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, set me up fuel wise for my planned ascent of Skiddaw (walking past a farm I camped at 47 years ago on my first Scout Camp!!)
