"Arrived at 4 on a Saturday and although we had been warned about the car park being small, there were spaces available. Reception was polite, quick and efficient, including a reservation for an evening meal. The room was large (room 5) and clean with a newly refitted bathroom, comfortable beds and blackout blinds. "The Abbey is stunning, the staff couldn’t have been nicer. The room called the Refectory was lovely. The Bar really lets the place down, it looks like an early 90’s conference area, completely out of keeping with the rest of the hotel. The room we had was disappointing, it was a Superior with Feature. It said it had living space, but it was a separate room with a bed in it and nothing else.
