"Cedar Court staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The outside of the hotel and its reception, foyer, bar and restaurant area are beautiful. Our room was comfortable yet basic and looked like it could do with fresh paint as a lot of the walls were marked and looked a bit grubby. Bed comfortable but the decor of bright orange made me feel like I had walked into an Easyjet lounge! A lovely hotel but that extra bit of TLC in the room decor would make it a lot nicer. Was delighted to see that the main building which is full of character, had not been remodelled or modernised and all the great features retained. Especially the Grandfather clock. Great to have a pet friendly place to eat and stay. Friendly helpful staff. Will stay again."
