"Excellent staff make this hotel, which itself is tired Victorian grandeur. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Coffee in the room was a bonus and breakfast was served individually to each table."

"The people at the front desk were helpful and friendly; check-in was a breeze. I liked that the room I had was a studio apartment. However, the kitchen could be equipped with basic condiments like salt, pepper and cooking oil. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I slept well. The hotel is a 35-40min walk from the train station, but you could take buses also."

"Only stayed a night and in hindsight probably shouldn’t have stayed here. Abrupt staff. Couldn't get a table for dinner in a small restaurant and felt like we were not welcome, and there were only 10 tables occupied and they said it would be at least an hour before we would get our food. It was stated that check out would be at 12 but the cleaners came around at 10:30 making us feel like we had to leave. "

"This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Europe. 1. There was no hairdryer in the room – I had to go to the front desk to borrow one. 2. There was no room cleaning service at all. 3. The TV didn’t work, and the remote control was broken. I informed the staff, and they said someone would come fix it, but no one ever did – even by the time we checked out. 4. "We stayed here one night as near Efteling. The room was quiet, spacious enough for three, spotless, the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good. There are a few dining options nearby but be aware that they close early."

"Great location for a hostel. Just a short walk (less than 10 minutes) from the train station. I used this as my base and took the train to other parts of The Netherlands to explore. The city is gorgeous and relatively quiet for a city. There's a large shopping mall, plenty of dining options, a major station which you can take to connect to international trains. There's also plenty of beautiful streets and canals to run along if you enjoy running. The hostel is clean and staff are very friendly. I would recommend not leaving anything in your bed as the last night I was there someone stole my extra battery pack which I had charging while I filled up my water bottle. It was unfortunate but all other valuables we're secure in a locker. "
