"We stayed here for eight days in October with two couples, both 60+. Everything about the villa was as advertised and more. Especially the living and dining rooms are large and comfortable, the grounds are beautifully maintained, the beds very comfortable, all the amenities excellent, and the hosts were always available and kind and helpful. Montfoort is centrally located and it was wonderful after a busy day of sightseeing to come “home” and not have to unpack but just relax. Highly recommended...

"The house is nicely located in a quiet resort with lake view. Very clean! You have to bring your own towels or rent them! The kitchen is equipped for 10 people eating but the cooking equipment is not. The pots and pans are very small. Never was able to figure out how to keep the oven on for more then 5 minutes. "We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH...

"The cottage was in a wonderful location - perfect for exploring lots of the main attractions. It was great to be able to use the boat and canoe on the lake - so peaceful. Gijs was a great host - friendly and welcoming."

Relaxing

"This was our second stay. Last time we appeared to be above the kitchens with associated for slamming. This time we were further away and it was very peaceful. The room was very well laid out and comfortable. Lots of interesting things going on in and around the hotel. Parking can be problematic but we arrive late and leave early, so not a problem for us."

Great business hotel - everything you need!

"I have stayed at this hotel 5 or 6 times now, whilst on business trips to Utrecht. It has always been a great place to stay, given the level of comfort and price point for a good 4* hotel. Location - right in a shopping mall and a short stroll from a) the station and b) the old town. Plenty of eateries within a short distance, too. The rooms are comfortable with plenty of sockets, a decent coffee machine and big TV. "

Convenient location, lovely place to stay

"We chose to stay here as we were visiting Efteling - we were very pleased with the location as it is about 10 minutes’ walk away from the park! Free parking with EV charging by RFID card. There is a supermarket round the corner and a couple of restaurants dotted about not too far away. The room was lovely and breakfast was delicious, lots of options at the buffet. Would definitely stay again."
