"This was just a 1 night stay. Check in via the bottleshop was quick, simple and easy. The rooms at the back of the pub (like at the rear car park area) look very basic, you have that 'what have I done' moment, yet once we went in the room, it was fine. Big rooms - large bathroom. "Laurie the owner was lovely. I phoned ahead to advise we were running late & it wasn’t a problem. On arrival we chatted with Laurie for about 1/2 hr - great communication and quite a lot in common with us. Lots of plans to change how the venue and how it is used. On approach the accommodation looks in need of tlc but it’s happening. Our room was very comfortable and had all we needed for a nights stay."
