"The hotel is such a great location & lovely inside. The cons: no fridge which can be tough if you have a little one. Also, no charge point for electric toothbrushes. Parking is a gamble. There are paid for parking nearby but a shame the parking spots aren’t reserved for guests. Also, we got stung by the breakfast drinks. We didn’t realise until the end how much we were spending on hot chocolates & lattes. I think the hotel should give you a bill at the end of each breakfast so you are made aware...

"Perfect for a short stay. Not the most visually attractive building but served our needs. Probably one of the best breakfasts ive ever had and well worth the £8 Staff were very nice and extremely helpful. Our room had a smell when we arrived. We were told that after heavy rain the deains backed up. It was away by morning and there was no water ingress. We would return."

"We had a delightful time at the Troutbrook Inn. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, plus they were certainly dog friendly. As this was my first time travelling with my dogs this was so reassuring. Would certainly book again if making a return visit to the area. "

"Poor eco friendly at the motel one. Paper cups the get replaced daily, no option to plug wash basin in bathroom, just have to let the water run down the plug hole. Shower screen partial so shower mat gets soaking and needed to be replaced every day.bar only sell bottled beer, thus a glass bottle used every drink."
