"It is a fairly average, cheap hostel. Staff member upon check-in made me pay twice as I had pre-paid on expedia but then paid also on arrival - so be sure if youve already paid. This was all resolved the next day by a helpful lady. Beds were very creaky so every time you moved it would make a noise. Lockers were a bit temperamental - you have to be quite forceful to ensure they are closed. Bathroom has mould in, so it needs a good airing after shower use. "Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The hotel owner made us feel comfortable and even provided umbrellas when she saw us heading out in a rainy day. Room was minimal but provided everything you need for a comfortable and warm stay. Definitely one of the cleanest places we have stayed in while traveling in Europe. Across the street from a train stop and walking distance to the center of Bonn."
