We did notice a spot of old blood on the duvet but it seemed like a stain, and was otherwise definitely clean. "Overall it's a good place. The area is quiet and walkable. The place itself is nice, nicer than most hostels in the same price range. You get breakfast and the staff is nice. The bathrooms seem to always be clean which is HUGE deal for most I suppose. The only thing that management needs to improve on is routine maintenance, the rooms walls need paint, as do the bathrooms. Some stalls and showers have stains of dubious precedence which is off-putting. I started in a small sigle room, very small...
