"This is the best Hostel to book on any budget. Since it is also a cafe the interior is upper nice and modern looking. As in the name, the interior is all made of wood and has that amazing wood smell that makes you feel so welcomed and at peace. "Location is in walking distance between main attractions in the area. Very clean and spacious room. The surrounding area is quiet and relaxing."

"The traditional room was remarkable. I love the floor sleeping. The place has a nice public onsen. If you are into manga the owner has a huge collection to check out. Also there is a massage chair in the lobby that I recommend for after your bath. This place is tucked back off of the main road so it is quiet. I highly recommend this for a night or multi night stay if available. "

"We stayed in a traditional style room. The inn owners were very welcoming and responsive. If you are paying at hotel it is by cash only. The inn owner was kind enough to drive us to ATM. There is some road noise, bring earplugs and a eye mask. I had to wear both in any hotel we went to. Shower and bathroom are wonderful. Laundry is available for $3.00 a load. Very Handy. Not too far from train station and bus. "

"The staff were so friendly and welcoming! I was solo travelling and spoke very little Japanese and they were very accommodating! The breakfast was yummy with a beautiful view of the gardens, one of the ladies explained everything on the plate to me, which was helpful. The lady at the front desk also offered me a charger which I needed which was great. "

"The Yamabe allows for a cheap stay at close location of Tenri JR and Kintetsu stations. The proximity of the railway may bother the ones who want a quiet stay, as the train service runs from 5 am to 11 pm. Nonetheless, the hotel staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and have all is needed. For information, toilet and washing facilities are not comprised in the rooms. Although it did not pose me any problem, this may bother some. "
