"King's Head Hotel or KA as it is known locally exceeded our expectations. We had 2 rooms booked for 9th November '24. Checking in was a doddle. Greeted by a young man. Following minimal checking in procedure we were shown to our rooms. Rooms were spotless and had only recently been updated. All furniture was of good, solid quality (I think some upcycling of chests of drawers ahd been done). Bathroom was great. A vary large walkinshower complemented by white toilet and wash basin. All seemed new...

"Very good parking facilities. Make sure you tell them your registration number, so they can register it. Staff were lovely. Very short walk to the town. It’s a slightly different type of hotel room. It has a sink/microwave/fridge in the room. I think they might cater for people who travel for work. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was a decent size. Problem with no hot water this morning. Bearing in mind the parking and proximity to the town, we would definitely use the hotel again. "
