"This was our 1st visit to Amelia Island..we originally booked with the Mariott but it was expensive as Mariott is. We then changed for a, mom and pop hotel across the street from the Mariott. Saved us $300( ). It was good, cleanliness was excellent. The staff were inviting and sweet..The room had a comfy King bed, and all the amenities we needed..They except pets for a fee. Parking was not a problem. Hot breakfast in the morning was ok.The best thing is location. The Beach is a few minutes walk...

"My first night was excellent. The assistant manager Monica was very helpful very kind and a pleasure to check in with the second night. I was moved to a room across from the laundry room although that was not an issue. I did have an issue with not having any hot water in the bathroom sink and the air conditioner did not work, that evening, I got back from my sister’s quite late and did not feel it was an option really to have maintenance come up to my room that late to try to get things working....
