"We stayed at The Villager for one night, in mid-January. The property is right on Route 7, but set back, so we didn't hear any traffic noise. Check-in was super easy, and the owner was friendly and polite. We had a king sized bed, which we found very comfortable. The room also had a desk/office chair, reading chair, closet, two dressers and nightstands. The bathroom was modern with great water pressure, and plenty of hot water. "Fantastic! We plan to return in the next two months! My fiance and I stayed here for snow and ski at Stratton. We LOVED the 1960’s-1970’s style of the rooms but everything was so clean well kept we felt right at home and comfortable (unlike staying at larger chain hotels where you feel you need to check for bed bugs no matter what -not here!) "The hotel was very inviting and cozy. There’s a microwave & mini fridge in the room which came in handy for leftovers. The breakfast was a great grab and go or sit in and eat in the common area. No problem parking and getting around. It’s close to ski resorts, a market/gas station and restaurant. And the staff is super friendly and helpful. "
