"Lumberton,NC touted as halfway between Florida and NY. Hotel was great, but the area around the hotel is just a shopping center. Most of the food offerings were chains and fast food,m. We did find a wing place that was local and very good. Breakfast, the cleanliness, the friendly staff at the hotel were all wonderful! Love the hotel, but the location and area offerings just weren't our cup of tea."

"I would have given three stars if not for the fantastic front desk staff. I had to change rooms twice because the first room was adjoining to another room and you could hear every step and every word. The second room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. But here’s the thing: the front desk man cheerfully and quickly switched rooms for me both times and I wound up in a really great room. My advice? Don’t hesitate to ask to be switched if your room is not good. This property aims to please, so let...
