"Wonderful. 10 of us from our company stayed here for a convention at the Javitz and it is super convenient to walk to/from each day. Most of the front desk staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, particularly Amanda and Terrence. This place is special. It’s not to be confused with a sterile national chain. Don’t stay here if that’s what you’re looking for. This hotel is quirky and I love that about it. As they’re in the process of reopening you might have an issue, but simply ask the front desk and they’ll take care of it for you immediately. Super convenient to Javitz, late-night shops, delis, and restaurants. Theatre and Times Square are also walking distance. I particularly recommend Capizzi’s Italian just a few blocks away. I can’t say enough nice things about this hotel and its staff. I will try to stay here every year and I hope you’ll enjoy it too. "

"I am a New Yorker who has stayed at many hotel's in the city! I needed a not overpriced hotel for New Year's Eve. I took a chance at this little place. Much to my surprise it was okay. The cleaning supplies were a bit overwhelming as far a smell but i found the place clean. The room was pretty big for the city. Had good storage for a longer stay and on a pretty quiet part of the street. Very basic but bed was comfy and clean and so was the shower. The customer service was nice. Able to store my luggage which was locked up for safety. The building was secure. Its a great little no frills hotel. I will definitely stay again. "
