"We paid $270 per night for this hotel. We were given the only room on the entrance floor of the hotel. So all we could hear was everyone coming in and out of the hotel, the lockers being opened up to place ones shoes in in the foyer, the cars on the road (our window was on the street). The windows had no frosting on them so we couldn't even open the blinds as everyone would be able to see right into our room. Very basic amenities, for the price we paid, we were very disappointed. "It’s worth noting that this is not a normal hotel but a traditional pilgrim’s lodging, so it is expected that you sleep on a mat on the floor and the facilities are relatively basic. You are staying here for the experience. The property was clean with onsen (hot bath) provided and our room had its own toilet/sink. Our only complaint is that they no longer serve food and we were not notified of this despite this being part of our booking, however we found a restaurant for dinner walking distance...

"Was great stay! Very comfortable room with heating mat which was just perfect for this cold season. Bathroom was also very spacious enough for two people. And thanks for the flexible check in and out!!! And very good location of the stay it’s like 10 mins from the beach. We had great time, thank you very much for the stay. "
