"The hotel and staff were great. The police who stopped us our first night there apparently watch the hotel from across the road because they wanted to know what we were doing there. They said there was unwanted activities at that hotel. We did not experience any problems or "bad element". It was clean and quiet."

"The Distiller House was like taking a step back into the past. The house was unique and authentic yet update to meet the needs of today. Next time we will be sure to remember to bring our own toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc). We loved having a beautiful area to walk around and explore some of the beautiful history of the area. "

Howard, the owner, was very quick to respond with help on figuring out the lock system. The only negative is that two of the showers did not produce hot water, We took very quick lukewarm showers-Ha! All in all we had a great time. "
