You will absolutely love this quaint Cottage with the best view of the lake and marina. This lovely Cottage has a hot tub overlooking Taylorsville Lake with great views of wildlife as well. Look and you will see many deer turkey, rabbit, hawks, eagles and other wildlife. This two bed two full bath cottage has everything you will need and equipped with a full kitchen, towels, laundry. Sleeps 6 to 7 people with one King bed, three twin beds, and one queen sleeper sofa. This great cottage is located in the center of Bourbon Country just about 30 minutes from many of the best distilleries in the country. Relax and enjoy this Great cottage with a view! Take a swim and soak up some sun!! Hike the trails and enjoy your stay. Oh, did we mention the large pool located on site! Nice large patio area with loungers and nearby restroom.

Peace and Quiet
We loved the cottage. Very clean and comfortable. The hot tub over looking the lake was a bonus. It looks like you can rent patio boats on the lake too. We did not rent, but would be something fun to do next time.

Overall, the place was clean however, several items weren’t maintained as well as they could be. - a few lightbulbs throughout need to be replaced… microwave light, master bedroom light. - many active spiderwebs with spiders on the back deck. - hot tub had debris and dead bugs in it - again, while the overall cleanliness was okay, there were dead bugs throughout the place. - not enough additional towels in kitchen and bathrooms

Kim’s cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed. Easy check in and out. Edgewater resort was quiet and very close to the lake. Nice hiking trails. We would definitely stay there again.

The stay was OK.
My family and I were traveling from Michigan to stay a few nights at this location. I was told by the host that I wouldn't receive the check in information until the day we were to arrive. I told the host we were planning on arriving at the property at 4pm. My family arrived to the property and still had not received the check in information. Overall the stay was fine, but the communication could be better. We did kill at least 3 stink bugs in the house each day we were there. I had tried to contact our host Thursday morning to see about tacking on one more night to our stay. Never heard anything back from the host until 9:00am the morning we were suppose to leave (had to be out by 11am). By that time we were already packed up almost ready to leave.

Beautiful cabin with wonderful views
We loved our stay at this house and especially enjoyed the hot tub during the snow day, the fireplace and the nearby playground. The key pad gave us problems on the night of check in but our host was very responsive and a kind representative fixed the issue the next day and turned on our fireplace settings outside . Will most likely come again next year

A little slice of heaven with the best view
Beautiful cottage with amazing view and great amenities. Very clean and comfortable. Private Hot tub under billions of stars, great area to explore, especially in autumn with all the colors in Kentucky Thoroughbred Country. Great romantic spot. Definitely returning.

Love coming here!
This is the second year we've stayed and it was just as nice as the first. Definitely like the new addition to the back deck for the hottub privacy. Can't wait to come back!

Property should be a 5 star but...
The property was as described, but there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and no dish soap to wash them. We had to buy dish soap, a scrubber (since the sponge there was molded) and there were some serious spider webs in the bathroom corners. Towels were something out of a bad motel. On the positive, decor was as described and property overall was tidy. Looks like whoever cleaned just left it incomplete. Neighborhood was great and the owner was really responsive when we had trouble with the gate code and then house code. Super convenient to the lake.

Nice place - wasn’t a wow.
This cottage accommodated our group very well! Not 5 stars. Some of the 4’s were closer to 3’s. The kitchen had stuff but wasn’t exactly stocked. Examples, no sheet pans, 6 full sized plates yet like 13 bowls (?!) No dish washer soap/tabs (bring your own) light in fridge burnt out, light under stove burnt out, well used scrub pad - needed to be tossed and a new one (for each renter!). 2 out of 3 pans had to be washed when gotten out of cabinet for use. Non-stick skillets badly scratched and warped. Grill was awful. I get a charcoal grill but this one was full of ashes from past clients and quite frankly just needed to be cleaned out before the next renter. Luckily found a grill brush to clean off the grate and a grill style spatula to use. Deck area is nice with patio furniture- umbrella is a joke. Made for the pool or a beach- not a patio table. Hot tub was fine. Terra cotta planter/pot on table with cig butts. Nice. Rooms were accommodating and beds super comfortable. Bathrooms clean and I was thrilled with the extra stock of TP. All towels in the cottage need to be replaced. They’re old. They’re well used and a couple in the kitchen were so cheap they wouldn’t absorb any moisture. Easy fix. View is - ok. When the trees are bare in winter I’m sure it’s better. This home is a hike from the pool. Bring a wagon or plan to drive up if you have kiddos. And watch the traffic! It seemed to me when folks go through the front entrance gate they pick up so much speed it’s like a drag race! Again, this house satisfied the needs we had but it needs a bit of TLC or a fine touch regarding a few things.
