"Hotel’s onsen as shown in the website pictures are for members only. Only basic dormitory style rooms were offered with public bath which had water pressure problem that 2 cannot wash at the same time. The bath uses regular, non-hot spring water which only open from 800-2000. No hot water in the dormitory bathrooms. Hotel is well equipped with gym and game room however for members only. Wish more clarification on the booking sites for this. "

He didn't speak much English but it was easy enough understanding what he was saying and he had signs in English as well to explain things. Because of covid the onsen/shower hours are reduced but it was still enjoyable. The room was clean and a heater was provided as well as hot water for tea. The futons were clean and...

"Host was very friendly. Countryside nearby was very pretty. Building was safe and charming. Doors creak a bit when you open them. I especially liked the individual night lights for each bed."
