"Very convenient Quiet and plenty of parking. Extra heater the last time we went as we asked it was bit chilly. This time heater was in the room. Comfy bed."

"The room was simple but clean with a view across the Exe valley. I liked that the heating stayed on until late evening, the hot water was reliable and the shower did not fluctuate between hot and cold. Also, the proprietors were generous and flexible with breakfast. The hotel is close to Exeter's two principal railway stations and about 15 mins walk from the town centre. Minor complaints - some of the lightbulbs were too dim and the toilet seat shifted around."

"Location was excellent. 5 mins walk to high street. Room was clean and plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 children 5 and 4. Walk in shower was lovely. Door out to the courtyard for views of cathedral etc"

"Staff were lovely and the room had a couple of extra touches I wasn’t expecting like bottles of water. The only thing that I would say tainted the stay was that I couldn’t turn the heating off in the room and with the room being small and at the top of the building, it was so, so hot. Other than that, great."
