"Room was clean and comfortable. Welcome was excellent. Only negative was advertised as free parking and when I got there was told I had to pay £5 parking. 'It's new, they've just brought it in'. So was disappointed with that. Should have challenged it but was too tired, so just paid. Still being advertised as free!"

"What a find! I booked at the very last minute - literally an hour or so before arrival - and feel I was very lucky to have chosen The Vale. The welcome was warm and friendly, the people are lovely, the room was a bijou but beautiful single (I was travelling as a lone lady with her dog) and spotlessly clean.
