"Arriving at 3.30 we had to fight our way to the bar of this Irish club to check in (it happened to be St. Patrick's Day !) The barmaid did come and show us our room however, a triple with 3 single beds. It was very cold and the radiator stayed stone cold until at least 7 p.m. and was cold in the morning when we were getting up. The room was very basic and there was no waste paper bin. The TV didn't work - the aerial wire was just hanging loose - and there were 2 wide steps down from the door to...

"I love this place. The hotel rooms are clean, comfy beds and nice bathrooms. The food is lovely (recommend the Stilton mushrooms) and the bar is well stocked and cosy. The staff and management were helpful and it seemed enjoyed the atmosphere. The whole place is filled with interesting antiques and bits of furniture. So much character. "Great location in the village. 1 small block away from fantastic pub with attached restaurant and outdoor seating with parking for both. One block from river. Another block added from the pub gets you to the convenience/grocery store. Another block along the river gets you to the manor house and gardens. Lovely room at the lodge, nice breakfast delivered in the mornings. Great staff, internet in the room. Parking lot within grounds. Local taxis available. Bolt available to the property...

"Most of Westminster College is used for students. The room was comfortable and had a mini kitchen. The breakfast included in the cost of the room is a full English breakfast, and was excellent. Be aware that the rooms are not cleaned daily - you can expect rooms to be cleaned every 3 days, however you can get extra supplies from Reception. I highly recommend the property."

"It was good experience overall, nice, clean good size room, comfortable bed and pillows. Person who checks the room helped me to find way to main door and my room, helped me with code to doors. Only on first night I had issue with noise from banging doors, even I had earplugs. Also no soap in bath. Just waiting for my 50 pounds to be returned for security deposit. "
