"I was surprised there was no window, but the TV showed a live rooftop view so that was like having a window. Everything else was great. Perfect location to downtown and bus stop."

"Tidy, easy to use, good communications, loved the in-room hot tub, and short walk across the road to the larger public thermal pools. Safe environment with electric gate. We had a great time."

"It was a great property in a wonderful neighborhood. We did have problems with the wifi, which the management tried to help us resolve (though unsuccessfully). We appreciated the parking, the coffee (ncluding decaf), as well as the treats. "

"Verandahs is a lovely old villa with an almost ‘posh’ backpackers vibe. Its a couple of minutes walk to Ponsonby Road and about 10-15 minutes to K Road. We stayed in a queen room with ensuite which was spacious and clean, with nice linen on the bed. Check in was a breeze and the service was friendly and warm. Definately recommend and would stay here again :)"

"Very clean and comfortable B&B. Owner requests that shoes be removed and no pork products may be cooked. It’s an easy walk from this residential neighborhood to the beach that has good restaurants. "

"Very handy location and great place to sleep. Bed was firm but ok. Not the cleanest place and could do with a freshen up but that would increase the price I’m sure. I’d happily stay here again."
