"Horrible run down two storey family bungalow. Everything was broken! Dangerous ledder to climb to the upper floor. stayed one night and it was the worst on our 2 month Bali trip. Wanted to leave the same day but the manager refused to refund the money so we were forced to stay. Luckily we only booked 1 night. "If you are going to Gili stay here. Its located in the middle of the island and with complementary bikes and easy 5 minute ride will get you everywhere. The staff are all amazing and nothing is to much trouble. We stayed in the two room villa and it was perfect. The pool temp is refreshing and you can order food at any time. The food and drinks are also top quality are cheap. Dont bother shopping. Stay here, stay here, stay here."

"I stayed in the Bamboo section for 3 nights which is next door to the Bungalows section. The Bamboo rooms are cheaper with rooms being basic - but this is how they are advertised. Like much accommodation in this part of Gili T, the call to prayer from the Mosque is quite loud and starts early (for my stay 4:40am). In the area there are plenty of places to eat, a nearby laundry, the beach is about a 5 min walk away. The front porch was lovely in the morning having the included breakfast...

"This hostel was really nice, from the reception to the room to the breakfast , all very nice. I stayed for 5 nights , the first couple nights I stayed in the deluxe room and the last 3 in a standard double. I had planned on hotel hopping around the island but Gili Buana was so relaxed I was happy to stay put. As A solo traveler I felt very welcome. Aisje the manager was an amazing hostess, she invited me for sunset and dinner a couple nights which was lovely. I highly recommend this hostel. "

I love this Dragonfly Lodge, the small lovely family operate this simply homestay. Father is the driver who can fetch you from airport. The kids operate the lodge and make sure to serve you when you need help. They also as my guide to the Gile Waterfall. Simply lodge with a stunning view. I definitely will back there for the Mount Rinjani hiking. #liveatexpedia
