"The room was just what we needed for an overnight stay, Comfortable, warm, great bed pillows, good mattress for sleeping. "Good location and friendly staff. Beds were comfortable, but very high. One of us could have used a stool. Desk chair - the only chair in the room - was in poor condition and not built to support larger people. This should be improved upon. A second chair in the room to sit on, if there's space, would be appreciated. There seemed to be a bit of dirty buildup in the corners of the bathroom floor; otherwise, the floor and remainder of the room was clean. We enjoyed our stay."

"This is my first time at this location. I was visiting family and convenience was paramount. We stayed 4 nights and ate breakfast in the morning. I also stay at the Hampton Inn at Decatur IL. I am a fan because I can count on the property to be clean safe and neat. I travel with my daughter and it is important to have a safe location to stay.
