"Great location, close to the central square. The hotel is basic but that is reflected in the price. The rooms are entirely adequate, clean and warm. We didn't have breakfast but it looked like a decent continental offering. You check in via a machine at the front door at which point you pay and receive a code to access the hotel and your room; we therefore had no cause to deal with any hotel staff - no issue with any of that, the system worked well. "Very nice stay here. It's ideally located for the medieval city as well as restaurants on the way into Carcassonne itself. The staff were very friendly and the room was serviced daily. Our room was small but well equipped. Would have chosen a bigger room if we had known and if one was available.
