It is located on a very quiet street—a rarity in Venice—but is very near to major thoroughfares for food and shops (which primarily cater to tourists). However, most major attractions do require a 30+ minute walk, which must be taken through crowded streets that are overrun by tourists. "Positive: Conveniently close (we hauled our luggage) to the Trenitalia station that connects to Trieste (cruise ship port). A variety of small restaurants within walking distance in case you have a late flight arrival. Negative: you climb stairs from the street level to the lobby level. From the lobby, there are more levels to climb to your room. No elevator, in case you are hauling your luggage yourself."
