"I have stayed here many times. They keep it clean and it is good value for the dollar. Last night I had noisy neighbors which made for trouble sleeping. I just don't understand it. "Stayed twice going and coming. The 1st time the lobby smelled of garlic really off putting(perhaps hard to control) , room was great, everything seemed pristine. The 2nd stay there was some dirty spots in corners of the shower. Bed was slightly firm but doable for my sensitive back. Breakfast had a good variety of options."

"This was my first time to stay at the Sun Valley although I have been coming to Junction for years. Someone at S. Llano River State Park suggested this hotel, and I gave it a try. First, the owner who checked me in was super nice. The room was recently updated with a full walk-in shower with nice, modern tile. The room felt very clean and comfortable. This is definitely my new go-to hotel when in Junction. Very good value, you should give it a try.,"

"The property was a pleasant stay, it had everything we needed and some. The exterior balcony and porches made our lounging around memorable. A large expanse of land & out door amenities for parking,barbecues, throwing around a football and taking walks to the river. Close proximity to Lost Maples and other parks is convenient. "

"We had a great one-night stay at the one-bedroom cabin. The area was quiet. The fresh eggs from the chicken coop were an added bonus. We were able to enjoy hiking at Lost Maples and Garner parks as well as delicious burgers at Bent Rim bar and grill. The Catahoula gallery is a great store. The bed was not very comfortable and squeaked whenever one would reposition. I would recommend that one take a screenshot of check-in instructions. "Very run down motel (still early 80s). Not the hotels fault but a transformer went out, so no electricity from 5 to 10:30pm with temp was at 105 that day. Very hot room with a weak a/c. Finally cooling off around 4am. Was not happy. "
