Located just 2 miles north of Garner State Park, this cabin provides a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature. You’ll find two enticing options for free Frio River access, both just 1 mile away:
Shallow Rocky Bank: This spot is perfect for relaxing by the cold Frio River. Imagine sitting in chairs, under canopies, listening to music, and enjoying the tranquil surroundings. It’s also great for families with little ones.
Deep Swimming Hole: If you’re up for more adventure, head to the deep swimming hole. The water levels range from 3 to 12 feet, making it ideal for tubing, kayaking, or simply floating and chilling.

Enjoy peace and quiet at this cabin. Century old oaks provide a shady area to barbecue, enjoy a campfire or just relax. The spacious front porch is perfect for sipping coffee in the mornings or enjoying a fireside glass of wine in the evening. There's an electric fireplace in the living area as well.
Astronomy enthusiasts travel from all over the U.S. to star gaze at the ranch's pristine night sky. The sky is spectacularly lite with the best view of stars you'll find anywhere. Hence the cabins' name....Stargazer.
Bird watching at the ranch is exceptional. Every year bird lovers travel to the ranch to spot some of the most rare breeds including the golden cheeked warbler and the black capped vireo.
Take a walk on the wildlife trails where abundant wildlife can be seen or just hang out on the porch and watch the fireflies come out at night. Deer, turkey and many other species of wildlife can be seen throughout the day.

WHAT TO BRING:
Pillows, blankets, sheets, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, toiletries, lawn chairs and ice. Linens can be supplied for an additional cost. We are unable to offer linens during June, July and early Aug due to labor shortages in our rural area. Contact our office for more information regarding linens.
PETS - This is an ideal location for pets!
Fee: We charge $20 per pet, per night. If you have more than 1 pet there will be an additional charge during check-in, at the rate of $20 per pet, per night. Two or more pets may require a $100 fully refundable damage deposit.
Rules: Pets may NOT be left inside the cabins unattended. If you leave your pets inside the cabin without supervision, they must be in a crate. Pets must be kept on a leash. You MUST take along a baggie with you to pick up pet waste and then dispose of it properly in the outside trash cans provided at each cabin. You will be charged a clean up fee if you do not pick up after your pet.

When booking online: Please do not leave a one night opening between your reservation and the reservation before or after you.
