"Booked through hotels.com Lovely staff in reception, Parking was easy and we slept well (reasonably firm mattress and pillow which was ideal for me) It was quite warm so we slept with the window open, not a problem. We were supposed to receive a free breakfast (according to our booking) but were told they don’t do breakfasts although we could, if we wished, pay £5.99 for a breakfast box, from reception or just mooch over to Greggs. "We had a couple of nights stay in the New Inn and it was a lovely clean comfortable place. Great check in and access to a fridge, plates and cutlery if you need it. Chinese restaurant just a minute walk away which was really good. There was a fish and chip place too but unfortunately it was closed while we were staying. Would definitely recommend staying here though, nice safe friendly little village with a great community shop five minute walk away. "
